For many years, camera clubs in Seddon Shield area of the upper South Island, New Zealand, have enjoyed an annual get-together of members. Each club takes a turn at hosting the event and 2024 will see us gathering in Westport with our hosts, the Buller Camera Club.

In conjunction with the convention, several competitions are run:

• Matthewson Trophy (for club entries)
• Novice Competition
• Open Competition
• Landscape Competition
• Natural History Competition
• Geoffrey C Wood Trophy (for a portfolio of images)
